These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of GarageApp, a mobile application for managing vehicles, insurance policies, and related information. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
GarageApp is provided for your personal use and, under a paid Fleet or Dealership plan, for use by your business to manage its vehicles. We may update the app or these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the in-app legal text and, where required, additional notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The app does not provide legal, financial, or insurance advice. Information displayed (including reminders, expiry dates, and third-party lookups) is for convenience only. You remain responsible for complying with laws, paying taxes and fines, maintaining valid coverage, and verifying any critical data outside the app.
Sign-in and identity: GarageApp supports sign-in via Apple, Google, email, and phone (handled through Supabase Auth). You must provide accurate credentials and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Vehicle tax and fines: Where available, lookups run against public or authorized services (for example SUCIVE in Uruguay). Results depend on those services’ availability, rules, and data accuracy. We do not guarantee completeness or timeliness.
Paid parking and messaging: Features that help you start or manage paid parking may send SMS or, when enabled, WhatsApp messages on your behalf. You authorize such messages and accept carrier or provider fees, delivery failures, and the policies of parking operators. The app only assists you; payment and compliance with parking rules remain your responsibility.
Photos, scans, and OCR: You may use the photo library or camera on your device to upload images (for example vehicle photos, license plates, or policy receipts) and use scanning aids. The app will request access to your photo library or camera only when you initiate these actions. You confirm you have the right to upload that content. Automated extraction may be imperfect; you are responsible for correcting data you rely on.
Shared fleet: If you invite others to view a fleet, they may see vehicle and related data for that fleet as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for invitations you send and for revoking access when appropriate.
Push notifications: If you opt in, we may send operational notifications (for example expiring policies). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or in the app.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases: GarageApp offers optional paid subscription plans (Pro, Fleet, and Dealership tiers) that unlock additional vehicle slots, team invite slots, and features. Subscriptions are offered as monthly or annual plans and are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All billing, payment, and refund processing is handled exclusively by those platforms; GarageApp does not collect or store payment card information. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s account settings (App Store or Google Play). Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with advance notice.
Acceptable use: Do not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data, or use the app in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or risk to the service.
Eligibility: You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live and not prohibited from using the service. The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Export compliance: You may not use, export, or re-export the app in violation of any applicable export laws or regulations, including those of your country of residence and those of the jurisdictions in which the app operates.
Disclaimer of warranties: The app is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of GarageApp. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if the app is free.
Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time in the app: User hub → Account → Delete account (in the Android app: Account → Account options → Delete account).
